I currently work at eVestment as a full-stack software developer, utilizing .NET/C#, VueJS, Microsoft SQL Server, and Amazon Web Services technologies under the Agile Software Development framework. I've worked on both the Data Input and Analytics teams to provide accurate and efficient access to our application for thousands of asset management and consulting firms.

I had the opportunity to intern at eVestment, a company that assists asset managers and consultants in making smart decisions regarding institutional investments, in the summer of 2016. I worked with the Data Input team to create a new input portal for firm-entered portfolio products and mappings that connected the input form fields with the database, using C#, ExtJS, SQL.

Undergraduate Teaching Assistant

I worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Duke's Data Structures and Algorithms course. My duties included leading weekly recitation classes, holding office hours for students needing help with assignments, and grading projects and exams. As a TA, I was able to solidify my knowledge in the course topics through teaching my peers.

In the summer of 2015, I traveled to Zhuhai, China as part of a DukeEngage program with a goal to promote the arts to middle school students. I spent 8 weeks at No. 9 Middle School, teaching English and pop dance classes to over 200 students. Working in a team of 16, we concluded our experience by throwing a sentimental showcase exhibiting the students from each arts class.

Throughout college, I was involved with Duke Chinese Dance, a dance group that celebrates Chinese-style movements. I worked as part of the Publicity Committee and was in charge of managing social media and promoting events through digital mediums. Through this experience, I gained important experience in working with photography and graphic design, each now an interest of mine.

Within my four years there, I was able to partake in a multitude of unique experiences, each contributing to my current interests and skills.
